Questions regarding appointments and visits.
Q: Can I visit YAO Dental Clinic if I didn’t have an appointment?
A: Of course you can. We strongly recommend our patients to make appointments to avoid waiting time. We accept walk-in patients but patients with an appointment will have the priority to be treated.
Q: What should I do if I can’t make it to my appointment time?
A: Please give us at least 24 hour notice if you want to cancel or reschedule for your appointment. In case of an emergency, we would still appreciate a call (0592-2964399) to let us know that you can’t make it to the scheduled hour.
Q: Can I make an appointment when the office is closed?
A: You can email us at yaodental@yahoo.com to schedule an appointment. However, it is not guaranteed that your requested time can be scheduled.
Q: What do I need to bring for my first visit?
A: You don’t have to bring anything. However, you’re welcome to bring any prior dental record that you have to enhance the quality of the discussion.
Questions regarding regular dental care.
Q: What do I after implant surgery?
A: After surgery you should try not to disturb the surgical site(s). Avoid rinsing, spitting, or touching the site(s) on the day of surgery. You may have a temporary healing abutment that can be felt above the gums at the surgical site; do not disturb it. You’ll need to keep a good oral hygiene, perform minimal physical activities, and take antibiotics in order to prevent infection. Be sure to ask our doctors for after-care instructions after your surgery.
